CHAIRMAN : Captain Murad Ahmed Mohammed Al Mamari
Education :
Master, Industrial Economy; Port & Shipping Management Diploma, Lloyds Academy, UK ; Classification Marine Surveying, CoC (2 years on Job Training & Class Room Courses) Norway/Dubai ;One Year, Adv. Naval/Academic Studies, UK ; Bachelor’s degree, Marine Science/Marine Officer, UK.
Experience :
Over 26 years of experience: 10 years Oman Navy, 10 Years DNV, 4 years Sohar Port, and others.
His decades of Professional acumen with Global mind set he leads this organisation towards a Value based contribution towards the Board Members, Patrons and to Employees.

As Sultanate of Oman is rapidly progressing to instil technological development , building strong Infrastructure all around Sultanate , we at Al Batina focusing towards becoming One door solution provider at Sohar Zone.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER : Engr. Ali M. Almamari
Education :
Bachelor in Civil Engineering from Sultanate of Oman has over 20 years’ experience in design, implementation and project management. His experience in project management and execution cut across many industries in the Sultanate. Engr. Ali has direct and relevant experience in the industrial services and engineering business. His understanding of the Omani terrain had made him through with many challenging projects across the Sultanate.
SHARING HIS JOURNEY :
Being born & brought up at Harmul , Liwa , Sohar have witnessed the tremendous growth & development that took place in this region and I take pride in being participant in it.
For instance , we berthed the First Vessel at Sohar Port on 24th April, 2004 and since then to until now we have provided this service to more than 9500 vessels without any incident or accident.
For Vale’s first vessel at its temporary jetty , with no relevant experience in Stevedoring for such big sized Cape vessel carrying Iron ore , we dared to carry this job in Nov 2011 and again for the first time in Oman we pioneered such operation.
We are now gearing up ourselves towards the Technological & Industrial services needed in this region.
Director of Administration : Mr.Suleiman Almamari
Born & Educated from Liwa , Harmul Heads the general administration department. His effectiveness leads the way of our company for all the timely services. He has over 30 years of cognate experience in general administration and maintenance covering all aspects of building and equipment maintenance. Suleiman coordinates all on-going projects and apart from day to day running of his section he takes special attention in developing locals to be technically knowledgeable
Director Human Resources : Mr.Khalfan Salim Ali Almamari
Born & Educated from Liwa , Harmul Heads our Human Resources and provides fatherly comfort to our over 300 employees from Multinational background. His leadership gave us the success in Omanisation and not as a policy to adherence but because of his commitment towards his community. His role is highly appreciable in instilling family value within our organisation.
Director – Operations: Mr Balogun Ibrahem Olawale
B.Sc, FCA, MBA, MSC, from Nigeria having Global experience in project and Financial Management for over 23 Years. He has worked with many international companies such as Guinness, Strabag International GmbH just to mention a few. He obtained his master degree from the famous University of Liverpool. His expertise is on Project management, Financing and Control which provides us with the competitive edge over fluctuations in the operating environment.
